Your micro regulator is factory set at the max pressure output. Before attaching this to your rig, turn down the psi to 0 (counterclockwise) with the included key. Then lightly lubricate threading and screw on to your cylinder, hand tight only. Now you can use your tool to turn up the psi to the recommended operating pressure of your pneumatic tool. The output gauge will show building pressure. If your pressure is too high, you will need to "recharge' the regulator by attaching the hose included in your set-up. This action clears the chamber for a fresh psi reading. If you are using the same pneumatic tool from cylinder to cylinder, the micro regulator will not need to me adjusted again. *KEEP YOUR KEY IN A SAFE PLACE*
Keep in mind the regulators are metal. To keep the unit smooth & tight simply run your finger over the threading with either your compressor oil or pneumatic oil.
If you have set the EZFill to the recommended psi, this should not happen. However, if you do overfill a cylinder a bust dick will break, causing all of the air to escape the cylinder. Typically, this will result in the need to replace the 5K burst disk, located on the fill regulator. If you have purchased a ProPack, you will find the required replacement in the included bag of maintenance parts. If not, you will find 5K burst disks as well as other parts under
If you have a compressor with a maximum output of 4500psi, then yes! Unfortunately, most "regular" compressors have a max output in the range of 125-200psi. Check your user's manual to see what the performance level of yours is.
EZAir Systems will push enough psi to operate any air driven pneumatic construction tool with pressure recommendations up to 130psi. Basically, a wide range of pneumatic tools from paint sprayers, carpentry & trim work to small repairs up to re-roofing an entire home.
